Feng Shui
Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese discipline, ‘Feng’ means wind and ‘shui’ means water. It is a unique combination of Art and Science; Science based on the flow of energy and the Art of harmonious placement.
Feng Shui works on the principle that the space around us affects us. The purpose of applying Feng Shui is to improve your life through improving the energy of your environment. Whether we realize it or not, we are constantly being affected by the Feng Shui of our environment. By harnessing the energy of our space we can promote human harmony and prosperity in our daily lives.
Color
Color is one of the most important aspects of interior design. It brings vibrations and energy to the living environment. Disharmonious colors make everyone feel either drained or strained. If the chosen color pallet is too bland it may make you feel lethargic or drained. On the other hand, if you chose hectic colors they will have an opposite effect. You may feel exhausted and restless.
I prescribe colors selections for my clients’ interiors by first giving them a color test that determines their own unique preferences. Then together, we find harmonious colors that work best for their occupied spaces.
